WHAT’S NEXT? WE SHALL OVERCOME THIS UNANTICIPATED VIRUS

Coronavirus is the black swan of 2020 - an unpredictable event that’s impacting people, business and society. Priorities, yours and ours, have suddenly changed. Economic indicators begin to show one face of reality to us. The consequences of this epidemic will be felt over upcoming quarters. Being either optimistic or pessimistic is of little consequence. Willingly or no, we are ill disposed to make predictions. This is confusing. That much we know. But we wish, as Logotel, to impart a message to you: we’re here to help and support you through this turmoil. By every means at our disposal: organizational, planning, technological, training.

Of one thing we remain convinced: inasmuch as people’s safety is concerned, today’s challenge is to adapt so as to give continuity to activities - yours and ours. This implies designing means of interacting, rethinking formats, studying new solutions. Such is our daily task over these complex weeks. Coronavirus requires that we limit physical contact. That said, we can’t stop thinking about the future.

Giving shape to new scenarios, activating mindsets that are collaborative, accompanying people through major transformations, managing complexity. Such is our DNA, and Coronavirus cannot change that. Technology affords us the chance to overcome many of the limitations which, until recently, would have been crippling. Yet we shouldn’t hide the fact that software is an enabler - not a cure-all. Many professions make up the world of work and not all are digital-ready. As such, collaborators have different seniorities and different roles. No one can be left behind. Furthermore, we believe work is made of precious rituals too, not productivity alone - each of which guarantees wellbeing. All these elements must be safeguarded.

As Logotel, we’re committing the best of our energies to planning and redesigning pathways and experiences. To involve, animate and train people in the best possible way -even during smart working- while guaranteeing the maximum service level for our digital business communities.

Today we’re facing a crossroads at which growth opportunities can be either cancelled or rethought. It is a moment for boldness. We need a new kind of realism that overcomes any traps set by the unexpected. This is because we’re certain we’ll defeat the virus. But not only. This emergency has opened a window to fresh ways of working, new relationships for which we can make space. Here we may perceive the epidemic as a strategic challenge – and one which can make us stronger. It’ll allow us to recommence with a new vision that’s even more open and inclusive.
